Cardiac rehabilitation for heart failure in 2015 (SOFMER/FFC)

Chairs: Patrick MESSNER-PELLENC, Marie-Christine ILIOU, Monique LOSCOS

The impact of heart failure on the cardio-circulatory function, functional capacity and quality of life of patients motivate prescribing individualized rehabilitation programs tailored to the patient, his age and the presence of co-morbidities.
The objective of this joint session SOFMER / FFC is to remind national and international recommendations on the indication and content of these programs, the role of therapeutic education, the relevance of some clinical (tests walk) or instrumental (VO2) indicators.
The need for integration of more complex patients will undergo specific communications such as patients implanted artificial heart or carriers.
The continuing evolution of care and technical means changing our practices. This session will bring everyone the information they lack on rehabilitation in heart failure in 2015.
