Tunisia developed a national program of the perinatal period with prevention and screening of the perinatal handicap, as well as a national program promoting mothers’ and children’ health.

In this context, basic health centers, regional centers of mothers’ and children’ care, hospital departments were created and involved. Regional units of multidisciplinary rehabilitation (including medical doctor, social worker, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, psychologist) were then created (1 / governorate, 24 all over Tunisian territory).

Models of evaluation, global care and orientation were developed, with regular updatings.
A new guide is in the course of finalization.

This network tries to improve the trajectory of children presenting aftereffects of cerebral palsy in Tunisia, going from medical care to social and school integration.
