Music and the brain: Parkinson

Music, and rhythm in particular, are very powerful in activating the motor system. The effects of music on motor activity are examined in this Session considering the example of Parkinson's disease. Music- and rhythm-based interventions aimed at improving motor control in patients suffering from Parkinsons' disease are presented.
