Swallowing impairments are frequent in neurological and neuromuscular pathologies and often constitute an important part of functional and even vital prognosis because of their interaction with other functions (breathing, speech, arms use…). This session about deglutition is also linked to a workshop and will make an updated overview about a comprehensive management of these deficiencies. First thanks to an expert conference about motor control of swallowing. Then with various communications about diagnosis and assessment, rehabilitation and medical treatments, healthcare networks and follow-up.
