REGISTRATION INFORMATION

EUA conferences are by invitation only, restricted to EUA members and selected guests

Participants

EUA adopts a flexible attitude towards delegates. The aim is to enable all members who so desire to attend EUA conferences (one representative per individual member and two for collective members), even if a certain balance between country representations should be maintained.
EUA reserves the right to refuse registrations if there are too many participants from any one institution or country. Priority will be given to those who register early. Deadline for registration is 29 February 2004.

Registration fees

The participants' fee, payable in advance of the event, includes attendance to the conference, all materials, lunches, coffee breaks, evening welcome reception on Thursday and the gala dinner on Friday as described in the programme. It does not cover the post-conference excursions on Saturday and Sunday nor the accommodation expenses.

The companions' fee, payable in advance of the event, includes attendance to the evening welcome reception on Thursday and the gala dinner on Friday. It does not cover the programme for companions on Friday and Saturday nor the post-conference excursions on Saturday and Sunday (See "Programme for companions" and "Post-conference excursions" for tour prices).

Conference registration, payment and final confirmation

After receiving your invitation to the conference by e-mail, you will have access to all conference information and an on-line registration form which you are kindly asked to complete and submit to EUA. EUA will then send you an e-mail to confirm you have been registered and invite you to complete an on-line hotel reservation form. In this form you will able to arrange your hotel booking and deposit, payment for the registration fee and any excursions selected.

When you have completed the registration process, you will receive a detailed itinerary of your programme.

Cancellation policies

For hotel accommodation
All cancellations must be received in writing by Atout Organisation Science (AOS) before 29 February 2004. Please inform AOS by e-mail: eua@atout-org.com or by fax: +33-4-96151251.
For cancellations received before 29 February 2004, only the 12 euros for booking fee will be retained. If you cancel your accommodation after 29 February 2004, no refund will be possible.

For conference fees
Cancellations must be sent in writing to AOS at e-mail eua@atout-org.com or fax +33-4-96151251. If cancellation is received before 29 February 2004, the registration fee minus an administration charge of 100 € will be refunded after the conference. If cancellation is received after 29 February 2004 or if the participant fails to attend, the entire registration fee has to be paid. Substitutes will be accepted at any time provided that EUA is advised of the change.

For excursions
Cancellations must be sent in writing to AOS at e-mail eua@atout-org.com or fax +33-4-96151251. A cancellation fee of 15 € will be charged for cancellations received before 29 February 2004. Cancellations received after this date will not be refunded.
Please note that all tours are based on a minimum number of participants. If a tour has to be cancelled due to a low number of participants, the tour fee will be refunded in full. All refunds will be processed immediately after the conference.

Liability

Neither EUA, Université de la Méditerranée or Atout Organisation Science is liable for any losses, accidents or damage to persons or objects, regardless of the cause. Participants and companions attend the conference and all related events at their own risk and responsibility.
